Which photo should you send?
The photo does most of the work. Here's what helps, and what holds us up.
These are hard to work from
We'll always email you before we start if a photo won't work — but that delays your order, so it's worth checking first.

Low resolution
Small or heavily compressed files lose the detail we design from.

A screenshot
Screenshots are re-compressed and often cropped — send the original.

Taken from afar
If the face is a small part of the frame there isn't enough to work with.

Blurry or moving
Motion blur hides the features that make your dog look like your dog.
These give the best result
Full-body shots work, but a close-up of the face gives us the most detail to work with.

Face large and in focus
The single biggest factor. Fill the frame with their head.

Sharp, not blurry
Still and well-lit beats a lucky action shot.

Eye level, good light
Daylight near a window, camera at their height. A phone is fine.
